The Montana Wheat and Barley Committee and Montana State University have teamed up to survey farmers about the wheat and barley varieties grown in the state. The results of this survey will be used to improve the marketability of your farm's crop.
Most of Montana's wheat crop is exported, and our overseas buyers rely on variety information to estimate milling and baking quality composition. Updated variety data help buyers around the world make timely and informed purchases of our grain. Plant breeders use this information to track grower demand for agronomic characteristics. Your feedback will help breeders deliver better performing varieties to you each year.
