Promoting Montana wheat and barley overseas, the Wheat and Barley Committee uses producer dollars to help foreign buyers source and utilize the grain they need. With the assistance of Montana producers, the Wheat and Barley Committee participates in an Overseas Varietal Survey. Specific wheat samples are sent for testing in foreign mills. The results and evaluations are then returned and used to strengthen varietal development programs and to meet customer's needs in a very competitive marketplace.
